Requirements Checklist
These are general requirements, and every application is different. Some documents may not be required, while additional documents may be recommended based on your individual circumstances. During your appointment, we'll review your application and guide you on the documents needed to help strengthen your application.
- Valid Jamaican passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond intended travel)
- Recent passport-sized photograph (2" x 2", white background)
- Confirmed travel itinerary showing onward travel to another country
- Valid visa or entry permission for the final destination, where required
- Proof of funds to cover travel costs
- Proof of employment, business, studies, or other ties to Jamaica
- Previous travel history or visas, if applicable

A C-1 visa is for direct and immediate transit only. It does not permit tourism, business visits, or an extended stay in the United States. An interview may be required.
