Requirements Checklist
These are general requirements, and every application is different. Some documents may not be required, while additional documents may be recommended based on your individual circumstances. During your appointment, we'll review your application and guide you on the documents needed to help strengthen your application.
- Valid Jamaican passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond intended travel)
- Recent passport-sized photograph (2" x 2", white background)
- Seaman's book or evidence of crew-member status, where applicable
- Letter from employer, vessel operator, airline, or crewing agency confirming the assignment
- Travel itinerary and joining instructions for the vessel or aircraft
- Relevant professional licences, certificates, or training records, if applicable
- Previous C-1/D visa or travel history, if applicable

The C-1/D visa is limited to crewmember duties and related transit. Applicants should bring clear evidence of their role, employer, and assigned vessel or aircraft.
