Requirements Checklist
These are general requirements, and every application is different. Some documents may not be required, while additional documents may be recommended based on your individual circumstances. During your appointment, we'll review your application and guide you on the documents needed to help strengthen your application.
- Valid Jamaican passport
- Letter of acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
- Proof of financial support (tuition + living expenses)
- Proof of English or French language proficiency
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- Statement of purpose / letter of explanation
- Evidence of ties to Jamaica
- Medical examination (if required)
- Police certificate (if required)
Important Note
You may also need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) to enter Canada, depending on your travel document.
